The Cincinnati Bengals beat the Cleveland Browns 31-17 in Week 7, their fourth consecutive win over the Browns.
In those four games, the Bengals have outscored the Browns 129-30 and have outgained the Browns by over 700 yards.
The Bengals are now 3-4 and tied for second in the AFC North a game behind the division leading Steelers.
Bengals running back Giovani Bernard scored on a five-yard run on the opening drive of the game. That rushing touchdown was his first since Week 6 of the 2015 season.
Jeremy Hill, who has been sharing carries with Bernard since 2014, also ran for a touchdown. That 74-yard touchdown was part of a 168 rushing yard day for Hill, the most for a Bengals rusher since Week 7 of the 2009 season. This was the first time that both Bernard and Hill scored a rushing touchdown since Week 4 of the 2015 NFL season.
Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green caught eight passes for 169 yards and one touchdown. Green’s touchdown came on a 48-yard Hail Mary pass on the last play of the first half. This was the third game this season where Green has more than 100 receiving yards. He is currently the NFL leader in receiving yards.
Wide receiver Brandon LaFell caught four passes for 83 yards and a touchdown. His touchdown catch was also a long one, a 44-yard reception late in the second quarter. LaFell has caught a touchdown in three straight games.
The Bengals second game against the Browns comes in Week 14. The Bengals will be looking to continue their dominance over the Browns.
