Bengals Toys for Tots Collection this Sunday; Canned Food Drive Scores 64,500 Meals

The Bengals and the U.S. Marine Corps are teaming up for the annual Toys for Tots Collection, which will take place on Sunday, Dec. 2, prior to the Bengals’ home game against the Denver Broncos.

U.S. Marine Corps volunteers will be at all entrances to Paul Brown Stadium with PODS to collect new, unwrapped toys and cash donations. Gates open at 11:30 a.m.

All contributions benefit the less fortunate children in our community and every contribution makes a huge difference in these children’s lives.

The Bengals have hosted this event for 27 years. More than 54,000 children in the eight county Tri-State area will benefit from the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots collection this year.

The Bengals and the U.S. Marine Corps sincerely thank all Bengals fans for supporting this important effort on Sunday.

BENGALS ANNUAL CANNED FOOD DRIVE SCORES 64,500 MEALS TO HELP FREESTORE FOODBANK

Bengals fans donated more than $20,000 in cash and 5,564 pounds of food to the Freestore Foodbank during the 32nd Annual Canned Food Drive prior to the Browns game.

This effort will allow the Freestore Foodbank to provide 64,500 meals to help feed families in the Tri-State area.

The Freestore Foodbank is one of Ohio’s largest food banks, distributing 24 million meals annually through a network of 400 community partner agencies serving 20 counties in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana. This includes food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, community centers, program sites, senior centers and daycare facilities.

U-Haul of Southwest Ohio provided U-Box portable storage around the stadium, used to collect the canned goods.
