Rob Gronkowski had another standout game against the Miami Dolphins as the Patriots ate up the Fins and spat them out on Sunday.
As NESN so aptly described it, Gronk had a “vintage day at the office,” catching five passes for 82 yards and scoring two touchdowns as they squished the fish.
When No. 87 scored his second TD in the second half, Danny Amendola “cleared the dirt” for Rob to perform his signature Gronk Spike celebration. Now that’s teamwork!

(Thank you NFL for relaxing your rules on choreographed celebrations this season, we appreciate the added entertainment.)
Running back Dion Lewis also had a helluva day, as he ran the ball 15 times for 112 yards and caught two passes.
The little train that could even showed off his hurdling skills as he bounced over one Dolphins defender during an impressive play.
Rex Burkhead and Brandin Cooks were other Patriots scorers that we were thankful for this post-Thanksgiving weekend as both brought touchdown dishes to the table.
While Brady had another beautiful day going 18-28 with 227 yards and four touchdowns, one of our favorite passes of the game came from Dolphins quarterback Matt Moore.
Unfortunately for Jay Cutler’s replacement, it was a perfect throw to Pats cornerback Stephon Gilmore, who snatched the ball for an interception. Oops ...
The Week 12 match up between the AFC East rivals marked the Patriots welcome return to Gillette following their high-altitude road trip to Denver and Mexico City. It also marked the last time they are home until Christmas Eve, when the take on the moribund Buffalo Bills.
The Pats head down to Miami in two weeks for Monday Night Football on Dec. 11, to give the Dolphins a second serving of Belichick’s secret sauce.
New England now has a 9-2 record, while Miami is free-falling to 4-7.
