They say good things come in threes, and that's especially true when it is checks that will help change the lives of sick children.
You know what else is good in threes? Gronkowskis -- and even better than three is four.
Rob and big brothers Gordie Jr. and Dan, along with dad Gordy "Papa" Gronk made a trifecta of special personal deliveries this week to drop off giant checks that will make a huge difference.
A grand total of $75,000 was made from the Gronk Nation "Ultimate Big Game Experience Giveaway" that sent two lucky winners to Super Bowl LII.
Yep, the smiles on these kids faces were brought about by all of you shopping for gear on Gronk Nation to earn an entry to the giveaway. Doesn't it feel good to give back, without even having to get off the couch?
The Gronkowski family's marathon of giving began at Boston Children's Hospital, where they dropped off a check for $25,000.
Next up it was a hop across state lines to the Barbara Bush Children's Hospital in Portland, Maine, and then the Hasbro Children's Hospital in Rhode Island.
At each stop, the boys spent time hanging with the kids (Dan has two of his own, while Rob and Gordie are simply big kids at heart) playing games with them and giving them memories to last a lifetime.
We're pretty sure all the doctors and nurses in the hospitals were beaming too ...
Super Bowl LII may be over but the Gronk Nation Youth Foundation goes strong all year around.
The next big event is just a couple of months away, as the foundation is the official charity partner of the John Hancock Non-Profit Program of the Boston Marathon to be held on Patriot’s Day, Monday, April 16.
