Going into the Bye Week

Going into the Bye Week

We hoped to be heading into the bye week on a better note, but it didn’t work out that way. The bye week gives us a chance to reset, and that’s exactly what we’ll do.

Do we feel any added pressure headed into the bye with how the last few weeks have played out? There’s always pressure on every team to go win football games. We definitely would feel better with some more wins on the board but that won’t stop us from going out there and trying to finish the season strong.

Personnel-wise, I think we’re fine. I don’t think we need to make any changes or bring anyone else in. We have a lot of confidence in what we can do as a team. There are a lot of teams out there that aren’t quite in the position that they want to be in; we’re just one of them.

The name of the game in this league is winning football games, and we understand that, and we just have to do more.

The first half of the season isn’t ending how we wanted it to, but we have played a lot of good football. At times, we’ve moved the ball well on offense with the run game and the passing game. I think the offensive line has done a great job. The defense has been as tough as ever.

But I also think injuries have really hurt us. I think if we can get some guys back healthy after the break, we can get back to playing how we would like to play and win some games.
