Any time you get to play a division rival, you’re going to get a little more hyped. Games in our division are always intense because every team has a tough, physical defense. That’s why you have to go out and set the tone every single play with your physicality and let the other team know you aren’t going to give them anything.
Against Seattle we’re going to be looking to take away the big play. With a guy like Russ back there, you know he can extend plays and it’ll be up to us to stay disciplined. Sticking to our fundamentals and our coaching is what’s going to help us against their offense.
I know a win would be huge for us, especially against a divisional opponent this week. That means we gotta stick to the process and not get impatient during the game. We’re getting closer to a win every single week and now we’re at the point where it’s all about finishing.
Week 1 was about us starting fast. Week 2 was about coming out of half time. Week 3 was about needing to finish a game. This week is about putting all those together so that we can play winning football.
