Patrick Peterson Makes Pro Bowl

Patrick Peterson earned himself a selection on the 2017 NFC Pro Bowl team on Tuesday.

Peterson has had himself a great season as one of the game’s top cornerbacks. He’s been asked to shadow opponent’s No. 1 receivers for entire games all season, and has managed to bring a vast majority of them to a halt.

Peterson has racked up 42 tackles and three interceptions this season. The selection marks his sixth appearance, as he’s made the Pro Bowl in every year of his career.

Joining him in the Jan. 29 game that will be played in Orlando are fellow teammates Larry Fitzgerald and David Johnson.

Fitzgerald joins Hall of Fame receiver Jerry Rice as the only receivers to reach the Pro Bowl 10 times in a career. Johnson earns his first career Pro Bowl, and is currently chasing history as he could become the first player to reach the 100-yard rushing mark in all 16 games of a regular season.
