The NFL scouting combine begins this week at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. NFL draft prospects will show off their physical traits and try to impress fans and NFL scouts, coaches and executives.
One Arizona Cardinals player who impressed in his workouts was cornerback Patrick Peterson, whom the Cardinals selected fifth overall in the 2011 draft.
His combine numbers were incredible.
The NFL’s Twitter account allows us to relive his workouts.
He ran the 40-yard dash in an incredible 4.34 seconds. He broad jumped 10-6. He showed a 38-inch vertical leap. His change-of-direction drills showed he was one of the best in the class. He showed good hands.
His athleticism has served him well, as he is one of the league’s best cornerbacks and overall athletes in the NFL. He has been an elite returner. He has played offense.
Who will stand out this year?
