It’s been a fun season so far with my boys, we’re out there grinding for the Kansas City fans and trying to bring a championship back to Arrowhead. Before the season we had one goal in mind: Super Bowl! It’s that simple. We know the talent we have on this team and we will not be satisfied unless we play that last game in February and kiss that Lombardi Trophy.
For myself, I just want to make sure I do whatever the coaches ask of me to help the team. Whether I’m returning kicks, taking handoffs, or lining up in the slot when my number is called you better believe I’m going to be ready. My personal stats don’t matter unless they contribute to a win, because the team winning the game is bigger than any of my stats. I set some personal goals for myself obviously but the bigger goal is put wins in the win column and do what I can to make a Super Bowl run with my brothers.
I was blessed with another Pro Bowl selection and I am so excited to be named a Pro Bowler for a third straight time. I’m hoping that I can skip the game because I will be preparing for a Super Bowl game, but it still means the world to me to be announced as one. I really could not do it without my teammates and the coaches as well as the support and all of the voting those Chiefs fans did!
We are in the postseason but there are still two games left in the season and they mean just as much as the first fourteen did. We are in the playoffs but we control our destiny and have to play our game to win a third straight AFC West Championship and make a run to the Super Bowl. We know home-field advantage is important in the playoffs and we would love for the road to the biggest game of the year run through Arrowhead and the best fans in the world! Stay tuned y’all we are working to bring back that trophy and get us a ring! #CheetahOut
