Off-Season Update

What can I say? Minicamp is going good. It’s a good experience for the young guys to get an idea of what to expect with the longer sessions, similar to what they will see in training camp and during the season and they are picking up the offense up fast. Like Calvin, Christian, and Russell they are all making explosive plays. This year we need to keep attacking the ball and make the big plays that we know we can make.  Keep being consistent in the areas we are good in and working to improve where we need to.

The veterans like myself, Julio, Marvin, Justin we all lead by example. At this point in the off season we still are getting to know the young guys, still building those close relationships as well as getting better everyday. But we know that the bonding we do now will help us later on in the season, especially in the playoffs. When you put in those long hours together in the weight room, the film room and the practice field, you can draw on that to give you a boost. We go to work with a purpose, a goal and put in the work to meet those goals. We are all held accountable and that is how you get better.

Once the season starts, every team is 0-0 and every team will have the same chances of getting to the Super Bowl. We feel like our experience as well as the talented young guys will give us a great chance of hoisting that Lombardi trophy but you can’t just wish for it, you have to work for it. Work is exactly what we plan to do.
