I consider myself very fortunate to have a twin brother. People think of brothers as being close simply because they’re family. But for me and Quem, there’s always been a little more to it. He’s not just my twin, he’s my best friend. We’ve been together for everything.
I wouldn't have it any other way.
We played together throughout high school and college and I’m happy that we can now play on the same team in the NFL. Not because it might bring us closer; our bond is unbreakable. But it will allow us to experience things we have yet to go through.
Now that he’s up here in Seattle with me, I look forward to hanging out with him and doing a lot of the stuff we’ve always enjoyed like going to movies, bowling, jet skiing, and just about anything competitive and fun.
Of course, I’m better at everything, lol, so he’ll be coming in second.
Well—he may be better at climbing trees than me, or at least when we were growing up. He learned how to climb before me. Long story short, he would climb the tree, jump off, and land safely on the ground. On the other hand, when I climbed the tree, the branch broke on me and landed on my chest as I hit the ground.
There really isn’t too much different about us. I’m a little quieter and more laid back, but other than—not much different.
People have asked me if I’m jealous that he’s become so popular without having played yet. I’m happy he’s become popular as fast as he has. He’s lived an incredible life and has an incredible story.
He’s worked harder than anyone and deserves all the praise he’s been receiving.
