Rookie Year

Rookie Year

It’s crazy to think that my rookie year is over. It feels like only yesterday it was draft day and now I have one season under my belt. The feeling of being able to live out my dream and play in the NFL is indescribable and I know there is even more to come. We had a lot of doubters when the season started. Many experts labeling it as a “rebuilding” year. Well, a 10-win season and going to the playoffs is pretty good for a rebuilding year.

Going into the season my goal was to help the team any way I could. I was fortunate to have K.J. and Bobby, two of the best linebackers in the league, take me under their wing and show me the ropes. Whether I was playing linebacker or special teams, I tried to take advantage of every opportunity I was given. This season only makes me hungrier for next year and I can’t wait for mini camps to start. I’ve already begun to prepare, both in the film room and the weight room.

12s, I just want to thank you guys for welcoming me! To be a part of the Seahawks organization and the Seattle community has been a blessing. Big things are coming so make sure you’re locked into my platform to see what I’m up to during the offseason. Outside of getting ready for next season of course! #GoHawks
