“Stay Tuned” was how I ended my rookie season! As you all know, my rookie season was cut short with a pretty serious ACL/MCL injury. All the talk of me being one of the better rookies last year, only for it to be cut short. It just lets me know how high my ceiling is in this league and for this team. Surgery, 11 months recovery, rehab, rebuilding both physically and mentally...with the 2018 season here many people are asking, “Is he ready?” Im ready!!! I’m staying hungry! I’m staying in the gym.....because I’m not satisfied! I want to be the best at what I do. Sometimes it’s not about expectations it’s mostly about performance. Expectations influence your reality, but can also form negative or positive results. I’m studying my job to become the very best, and I watch countless hours of film. Once you become satisfied, you lose your hunger for the game. Week 4 going in we face DeShaun Watson and the Texans. I played against DeShaun in college and he’s one of the best QB’s out there. The Texans are a tough team but we will be ready. Our defense has been playing very well and I’m looking forward to going out there with my brothers and making it extremely hard on their offense. Good luck this weekend to my little bro Marcus Hooker and the Buckeye Family. Win the moment, take advantage of ever possession, it’s not over till the clock runs out. O-H-I-O.
